Insert the shim washer...
...as shown.
Apply a little smear of grease to the inner surface of the gear change housing.
Push on to the handlebars...
...until nice and flush like so.
Feed through cable as shown on throttle side and re-fit grip.

Installing gear housing
Grease up the housing tube for the gear change side.
Insert the shim washer...
...as shown.
Apply a little smear of grease to the inner surface of the gear change housing.
Push on to the handlebars...
...until nice and flush like so.
Feed through cable as shown on throttle side and re-fit grip.
