Adding exhaust

Offer up the exhaust to the downpipe and roughly line up the holes on the upper bracket with the studs on the engine casing by eye.

Begine to hit the exhaust with the palm of your hand on to the downpipe and as it moves on to the downpipe, it will automatically move backward so the holes and studs line up.

Make sure the jubilee type clip around the exhaust inlet is facing downwards.

A few more taps and the upper bracket will be seated correclty.

The lower tab on the exhaust outlet pipe is sometimes a little mjore tricky and make need to be 'persuaded' carefully in to position.

Once it is on the engine casing stud, use a flat washer and 10mm nut to tighten.

Fasten the upper bracket using flat washers and 13mm dome head nuts.

Tighten the jubilee clip below the exhaust inlet to secure it to the downpipe and the exhaust is installed.

Flat washers and dome head nuts Mr Slack? Isn't the exhaust more likely to shake off. I've a good mind to write a letter to the editor of Jet Set.... ;)

Fair point. I can change that!
