Starting work.

I'm not going to start preaching about health and safety, that's up to you to take care of. This si about taking a Lambretta apart and putting it back together. I'm sure you can figure out yourself that grinding metal might cause bit's to shoot in your eyes and stabbing yourself with a screwdriver hurts.

what I would say though, is that it is important to have a clean and tidy space to work in. I divide mine up so that I have room to work and room to put pieces that come off the scooter. Don't throw anything away unless it is totally trashed. You'd be surprised what can be repaired these days by a good dealer. Work to an order and make a list of anything you intend to replace or have repaired. That way, you 'should' have everything you need when it comes to re-assembly.

I will list the parts that come off this scooter as well as the size and number of each nut and bolt. This list will then be published as an entire document at the end of the project. Please note, that in some instances, slight variations in production at the Innocenti factory, might mean there are minor differences between this machine and the one you have.
